Animals Bingo: free printable cards
Printable animal bingo cards with simple animal names for preschool and kindergarten.
Animal bingo is a first bingo game for preschool and kindergarten children. The small three by three grid and the short, familiar animal names keep it simple enough for early readers, and the game doubles as practice with animal sounds and words.
Read each animal name and make the sound or show a picture so non readers can play too. Use large markers such as milk caps or blocks for small hands. Three in a row wins, and most children will want to go again right away.
One of the 3×3 cards this template makes. Every printed card gets its own layout.
How to play
- Give each child a card and large markers.
- Say the animal name and make its sound or show a picture.
- Children cover the matching square.
- Three in a row wins.

Printing tips
- For a group of up to 30 you can print everything free. Choose 2 cards per page for a standard size, or 4 per page to save paper.
- Turn on the call sheet. It lists every square in a random order with a checkbox, so the caller never repeats one.
- Add a few more squares than the 8 a card needs. The more entries, the more the cards differ.
- Pick “Save as PDF” in the print dialog if you want to email the cards or print them later.
